In celebration of her majesty’s coronation!

More than a year after her accession in 1952, Queen Elizabeth II was crowned in Westminster Abbey. In 2013, The Royal Australian Mint commemorated the 60th anniversary of this occasion with a specially designed coloured $2 coin to be intended for circulation. The design features a stylised representation of St Edward’s Crown encompassed by circles inlaid with a royal purple pattern – synonymous with royalty.

Second lowest mintage $2 meant for circulation.

The Royal Australian Mint’s circulating coloured $2 coins form the most desired denomination series in Australian numismatics. Underpinned by some of the lowest decimal mintages, it is very difficult to track down colour $2 commemoratives in circulation. The 2013 coronation $2 has proven the prime example of this rule. If you’re extremely lucky, and find one, they will not be in Uncirculated quality – making this opportunity pivotal. Secure your roll today!
