How do I earn points?

You earn 1 point per $1 spent on all non-bullion items. Bullion line items are excluded from points entirely.

How are points calculated on mixed orders?

We take your order total minus the value of all bullion line items. Only the remaining non-bullion amount earns points.

Example:
Order total: $500
Bullion component: $300
Points earned: $200 → 200 points

How much are points worth?

Every 100 points = $1 discount. Equivalent to 1% back on eligible purchases.

Where can I use my points?

Points can be used on any non-bullion retail purchase. Points cannot be used on:

  • Bullion
  • Wholesale orders
  • Vaulting fees
  • Shipping fees

Do points expire?

No. Points never expire.

Why didn’t I earn points on my order?

Possible reasons:

  • The order contained only bullion products
  • The order was a wholesale order
  • Your account is under review for offer abuse (see T&C 1.4.1)
  • The order was cancelled, refunded, or unpaid

Do cancelled or refunded orders lose points?

Yes. If an order is refunded, returned, or cancelled, all points earned from that order are reversed.

Can my points be revoked?

Yes. As per T&C 1.4.1, points can be revoked if we detect:

  • Fraud
  • Multiple accounts
  • Maximum-order-limit evasion
  • Scalping or offer manipulation
  • Any breach of Sections 3.1.3 – 3.1.6 or Section 5

Points remain the property of The Coin Chest until redeemed.

Can I convert points into cash?

No. Points hold no cash value and cannot be withdrawn.

If I partially return an order, what happens to points?

Points are reversed pro-rata based on the value of the returned non-bullion items.

If an order was paid with points, do I get them back on a refund?

If the refund qualifies under your T&Cs:

  • Points used are refunded
  • Points earned on that order are removed
