The Coin Chest eBay Live Auctions
The Coin Chest is now hosting regular live coin auctions on eBay Live, giving collectors another way to buy, bid, chat with us and see selected coins in a live format.
This does not replace our main website or change how The Coin Chest normally operates. It is business as usual through our online store, with eBay Live simply giving customers another way to interact with us, ask questions, request items, and see some of the people behind the business.
For many collectors, buying coins online can feel a bit disconnected. You see the product, read the listing, place the order and wait for dispatch. eBay Live helps make the process more personal. You can watch our team live, see selected items being discussed, ask questions where available, and take part in live auctions as they happen.
Why We Are Running eBay Live Auctions
We see eBay Live as a practical way to connect with collectors more directly. It gives customers a chance to see our faces, hear us talk through selected items, and get a better feel for the coins being offered.
It also gives us a place to run more flexible auction-style events, including $1 starts, clearance lots, affordable silver coins, bullion pieces, world coins, numismatic items and surprise lots that may not always suit a normal fixed-price website listing.
Some items may be common, some may be oddball pieces, and some may be better collector items that we think are worth showing live. The mix will change from event to event.
What You Can Expect
Each eBay Live event will feature a changing selection of coins and bullion-related items. The exact line-up will vary, but events may include:
