Australia’s Fourth Coloured, Circulating Commemorative $2 Coin:

This 2015 $2 Lest We Forget Coin is a must-have for all Australian decimal collectors. An eye-catching coin, the coloured reverse was designed and manufactured for the commemoration of 100 years after the 1915 Gallipoli Campaign. The reverse design features a ring of poppies amongst 3 distinct crosses to honour the fallen and a red circle surrounding the dignified words ‘Lest We Forget’.

Issued as part of the official Anzac Centenary Coin Program capturing historical service and sacrifice of Australians at War, one and a half million $2 coins were released into circulation. The obverse features the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Queen Elizabeth II.
